Call to Action

Your Call to Action, or CTA, is essential to creating conversions, and most people understand this concept. However, this does not mean that the more CTAs you present on your website, the more conversions you’ll get. If too many CTAs exist, or the messages conflict or are unclear, the directions may become cloudy for customers, and they may become annoyed and feel pestered with everything saying “Buy Me!”, “Pick Me!”, “Choose Me!”. Annoyance doesn’t lead to conversions, so be careful with how many calls to action you present to your customers. 

Ugly Aesthetics

Content is crucial, but the way that it is prepared and presented is just as important to your website design. As stated earlier, your branding should be consistent throughout the entire site. Ensure that fonts are legible and large bodies of text are broken up into smaller paragraphs. Colors should match the message you are intending to get across, and images should be high quality and relevant to the content. First impressions are important, even when it comes to a website, so do what you can to make this impression a good one.
